Photos — Les Malmgren Imprint Pond System

The Imprint Pond System not only includes the iconic 900 gallon Les Malmgren Imprint Pond, but 2 Egg Incubator/Self-release tanks and an efficient Intake System some 200 feet upstream. The Intake System brings fresh oxygenated creek water into two large Sedimentation Tanks, through the incubators and imprint pond, then back out into Venema Creek. This entire system uses no motors or electricity, but the inspiring physics of simple gravitation and ingenious hydraulics.
